It’s finally time again for the Spring Open House at OWC! We’re welcoming back some long-time friends, and we’ve invited new faces to join us for a fun-filled day of tasting. Year after year, the wineries say the highlight of the day is meeting Omaha’s wonderful, wine-loving community; we know this year will be no different!
At our annual Spring Open House, you will meet great people and taste some great wines! Join us in welcoming the following wineries for Spring Open House 2025:
Burly Wine
Goldschmidt Vineyards
Hendry Ranch Winery
Majuscule Wine
Peter Franus Wine Company
Robert Foley Vineyards
Varozza Vineyards
Unfortunately, one of our wineries had to cancel last week, so we will be pouring the new 2022 Barbour Cabernet Sauvignon for you! Jim and Kathy Barbour couldn’t be here due to the timing, so their good friend and ours, Tom, will be tasting you on their wine! Look for the Barbour station!

We can’t wait to see you at the Spring Open House on Sunday, May 4th!
Open House Details
Date & Time: Sunday, May 4th, 10 am to 5 pm
Timeslots: We offer timeslots every hour, on the hour, starting at 10 am and ending at 3 pm. To ensure you and everyone else enjoy the best possible experience with the wineries while helping us manage total crowd size, we kindly ask that you limit your visit to 2-3 hours. While we do our best to control the flow of guests, please be aware that it can get crowded at times. If you purchase tickets for the 3 pm time slot, please note that your visit will be limited to 2 hours.
- Tips & Tricks: If you are coordinating a group of people, we suggest one party purchase all the tickets to ensure an adequate number of tickets for that time slot.
Event Format: Upon arrival at the welcome table, you’ll check in and receive a tasting glass. Wineries will be stationed throughout the store, allowing you to explore and taste at your own pace. When you’re finished for the day, you can return your used glass at the check out area. If you’d like to keep your glass, it’s available for purchase for $9.
Wine Purchases: All the wines you’re sampling will be available for purchase along with anything else in the store. Simply grab the wines you want to purchase directly from the winery station and drop them off at the checkout desk. We’ll hold your wines behind the counter while you continue your visit, so you can enjoy your visit without having to carry them around.
- Tips & Tricks: some wines are available in limited quantities, so we highly recommend securing your wine selections and holding them at the checkout counter. This way, you won’t risk them being sold out by the time you’re ready to check out and leave for the day.
Food: We will have a small station of finger foods and plenty of bottled water for you to stay hydrated.
- Tips & Tricks: in order to maximize winery experience, many attendees choose to have a meal either before or after the event.
Cost: Tickets are available to purchase through our website at $35 per ticket. We are once again offering an “Early Bird Special” for the 10 am timeslot with tickets specially priced at $30 each. No need to print out your receipt as we will have a master list of names and tickets at check in.
