Calafia Couples' Cuvée
The inspiration for Couples’ Cuvée came to life over a glass of wine one evening between our two husband-and-wife teams: Calafia’s Randle and MaryLee Johnson and Omaha Wine Company’s Hasan and Michelle Hyder. We wanted a wine that spoke to the idea of love and friendship, supported by teamwork and commitment. We also wanted to create something unique and special for OWC customers, so we selected Charbono for its depth of flavor. This Rosé of Charbono can be enjoyed by itself of will pair perfectly with creamy cheeses, fruits, charcuterie, salads and fish. Cheers!

In the scheme of Napa wineries, Calafia Cellars is a little-known gem that has managed to stay “under the radar” for 30 years! But the OWC faithful can say they’re “in the know” as we have the pleasure to call Randle and MaryLee Johnson our friends.
Randle Johnson has been working in Napa Valley for 35 years, and Calafia Cellars is the personal brand of Randle and his wife, MaryLee. Made from their own estate grapes blended with small quantities of grapes from other vineyards, Randle uses his extensive experience and knowledge to create a fine example of what Napa Valley, and St. Helena in particular, have to offer.
