On the nose, you’re greeted to beautiful notes of ripe blackberries, cedar wood, cinnamon, fern, black truffle with a hint of minerality. A soft & velvety entrance, the palate evolves on a fresh mid-palate and lingers on fresh cut elderberries, tomato sauce, oregano and bay leaf.
94 points Jeb Dunnuck – A step up over the 2014, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon has more mid-palate depth, as well as ripe tannin. Offering similar notes of blueberries, blackberries, crushed rock, violets and earth, with just a touch of background oak, this full-bodied effort carries plenty of underlying structure, good purity of fruit, and a great finish. Give it 2-3 years and enjoy over the following two decades.
