This Zinfandel is showing plummy purple and crimson edges with a moderate depth of color. It has alluring aromatics including blueberries, wild strawberries and red fruits that harmonize with undercurrents of vanilla, Brazil nut, cinnamon, and baking spices. The overall impression is one of harmony, with deep pools of fruit.
Texturally the wine transitions on to the palate effortlessly with a beautiful broad mouthfeel. Red currant, cherry, and red fruits in general meld with delicate and subtle spices, vanilla, and a touch of licorice. A moderate level of tannin underpins the voluptuous nature of the palate without interfering with the glorious balanced mouthfeel.
