Petit Verdot varietal wines tend to have a following of passionate, knowledgeable fans, and its ruby/purple color has been described as “dark and brooding”. Our 2016 Petit Verdot is aromatic and welcoming on the nose, has a zesty freshness, a robust, full-bodied mid palate and a long lingering finish. We have blended 18% Cabernet Sauvignon into the wine in order to enhance its structure and mineral complexity. This is an ideal option if you prefer red wines without overpowering tannins. Only 65 cases were produced.
