2021 delivered an ideal vintage. An early spring, consistent mild-warm growing season, and light crop load as well as small berried clusters led us to a reasonably early harvest. The pleasant harvest weather gave us plenty of hang time and excellent concentration during the fermentation process. Focused dark fruit makes way for some brightness on the aromatics and palate, while well integrated oak and tannins play th erole of extending the finish. This will age gracefully over the next 15-25 years.
