The color is a deep magenta red with purple and indigo hues in the meniscus. The red and black aroma profile consists of Bing cherry, raspberry, blackberry, clove, rosemary, mint, and cinnamon. Flavors follow through with black fruit notes of cassis, cardamom, lingonberry, nutmeg, and baker’s chocolate. With time and air in the glass, nuances of French oak appear. On the palate, the texture is full, round, and smooth with fine grain tannins for aging.
