Continuum Estate
In 2005, the Mondavi family founded their newest venture, Continuum, in the spirit of their long-standing family tradition. The Mondavi legacy and reputation may precede him, but for Tim Mondavi, the Continuum project has allowed him to flex different winemaking muscles and produce a big, rich wine from the vineyards of Pritchard Hill.
The 2019 Continuum Proprietary Red Blend is a very special vintage for the Mondavi Family; it is their 100th Harvest. To commemorate, the bottle is adorned with a special label specifically commissioned for the vintage. The wine is stellar, as always. A blend of 50% Cabernet, 37% Cab Franc, 7% Petit Verdot, and 6% Merlot from Sage Mountain Vineyard, this vintage is lively and expressive with red fruits and delicate floral notes. The palate is velvety and plush with fine tannins and silky texture with concentrated dark fruits, savory herbs, spices and graphite. This is a beautiful wine with power and grace to be enjoyed now or aged for several years.
