Stanton Vineyards

The Stanton family has grown grapes in Napa Valley since 1947. They began making their own wine in 1999. For that first vintage and the next 3, they used grapes exclusively from their esteemed Oakville vineyard. They also own 2 vineyards in St. Helena.

They farm the land themselves, and the fruit they grow is sought by some of the most prominent wineries in the region. They keep less than 7% of the grapes grown on their properties for their own label, so they remain, and will remain a boutique winery. Acclaimed winemaker Dave Phinney joined the Stanton team in 2002.
